Biography
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and have worked with children, adolescents, and families for more than two decades in various settings both therapeutic and non-clinical. Being born and raised in Korea and immigrated to U.S 30 years ago and I consider myself as bilingual and bi-cultural to work with Korea.
My Approach
I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental place for my clients so that they can tell their stories and to find a new path with hope and purpose again in life. My therapy approach would be positive psychology based on individual's strength and I also utilize other modalities such as CBT as it may useful to help client. I am interested in working with issues related to depression, anxiety (Panic Disorder), trauma, adjustment (especially acculturation, life phase), relationship, parenting, church ministry and spirituality.
