Biography

Elaine is a licensed marriage and family therapist and also a registered art therapist based in California. My Approach

I believe everyone has unique stories that need to be heard. As I listen with curiosity and support, individuals freely explore their stories, become more open to delving into meanings, and further empowered to define their sense of self that needed to be received. I use an integrative approach, weaving in the client-centered theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and attachment theory. I am also aware and appreciative of non-verbal expression and the benefit of using this creative form of expression to promote communication fully. As your therapist, my focus will be on individual meaning, cross-cultural issues, and prioritizing empowering being who you are. I hope you will invite me to the journey you are about to begin, and I look forward to supporting you and walking with you in this season of your life.
