Biography

Hanbit is originally from Seoul, South Korea but spent the majority of her life as an adult in the US. She graduated from Moody Theological Seminary with MA Biblical Studies and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with MA Mental Health Counseling. With both degrees putting into practice, she is at White Stone Counseling Resources, a Christian practice to intentionally integrate Christian faith into counseling as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

My Approach

I believe counseling is a holistic process where the work of the Holy Spirit is evident through His healing. As a counselor, my hope is to provide clients with a safe, secure space to freely process your feelings, and unpack any hidden/unresolved areas of life. In each session, it is my desire for clients to truly feel heard, seen, and known. I see counseling as a tool of growth beyond symptom reduction; I strive to help equip each client to adopt a more healthy and holistic view of self, enhancing their spirituality and quality of life.
