Biography

Ms. Lee-Garland has extensive years of clinical experiences working with individuals with various emotional struggles with depression, anxiety, traumatic life events, and/or relationship problems. She is currently completing doctoral dissertation on the topic of challenges and resilience among biracial individuals in relation to transnational activities in current globalized societies. Ms. Lee-Garland also provides clinical supervision to student interns and postgraduate clinicians as an AAMFT approved supervisor since 2008.

My Approach

I am committed to helping people recognize their own strengths and find solutions to problems. My special interest is to work with immigrant families, assisting with their adjustments in a new country dealing with cultural differences and generational conflicts within family systems.
