Biography
Joy-Hee Lee, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of the New York, holds a Masters in Social Work from SUNY Stony Brook. Joy-Hee has had extensive working experiences at the several organizations serving individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, depression, anxiety, trauma, intellectual developmental disabilities, marriage conflicts, and familial/parenting/life transitional issues.
My Approach
I use the following intervention approaches: Evidence-based Cognitive Behavior therapy (CBT), Behavior therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT), Person-Centered therapy, Strength-based therapy, Solution-focused therapy, Trauma informed therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy. My goal as a therapist is to provide clients with the support, safety and empowerment we all need to work through the various conflicts in our life by utilizing all of faith to God, counseling experience, life experience, education and training. The passion for social work and psychotherapy I possess motivates me to strive for excellence and assurance in order to fulfill my abilities as the current role of therapist.

Education and Credentials
Masters degree of Social work from Stony Brook University, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have had experience serving population with domestic violence, sexual assault, trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflicts, children having trauma from their own parents, and parenting education since 2013.
