Biography

Brena Hong is a licensed social worker in the state of PA who provides mental health services. Brena has experience working with victims/survivors of intimate partner violence and family violence, and she is beginning to gain experience providing brief, structured treatments. Brena aims to one day fully serve the Korean American community regarding mental health services.

My Approach

I believe that mental health services should be both holistic and personalized. I am mostly psycho-dynamic oriented but with all things, this orientation is fluid, and I try my best to tailor mental health services to a client's own needs and wants. I also believe that mental health, cultural background, and social justice are intricately linked, and I encourage clients to bring those topics to the table.
