Biography

Caroline is the owner of Nocking Point Counseling and provides individual, couples, and career counseling to adults and teens. Although she has experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds on a wide variety of emotional and behavioral issues, she specializes in the following areas: women’s issues, multicultural issues, relationship and sexuality issues, career exploration/development, and domestic violence. She also teaches various career development workshops and runs a support group for new mothers.

My Approach

I believe that therapy is a chance to slow down and step into a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your inner world and focus on what’s most important to you. I have an integrative approach that draws from psychodynamic, existential, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness-based counseling. We will work one-on-one to both gain insight into the barriers that keep you from leading a healthier, happier life, and develop an action plan to get you there.
