My Approach
As a bilingual and bi-cultural psychiatrist, I focus on how cultural background, individual family dynamics, and ethnicity affect one’s life trajectory, mental well-being as well as personal and work relationships, especially in immigrant families of diverse backgrounds. It is my goal to help the patients and their families to understand the issues through the lens of cross-cultural psychiatry in a solution-oriented perspective and to become more confident participants in their own lives.
