Biography

She was trained as clinical counselor to understand an individual issue, and also marriage and family therapist to understand relational histories and current dynamics. She is one of a few bilingual Certified Imago Relationship Therapist to help family and couple to enhance their communication, and have Sex Therapy trainings for couples.

My Approach

As a relationship therapist, Monica tries to help a client to understand one's family of origin issues and attachment style. Especially for a couple, using the Imago dialogue, she helps the couple understand their relational pattern and unconscious power struggle to conscious and intentional relationship.

M.S. in Clinical Counseling in Loyola University Maryland
Ph.D. candidate in Marriage and Family Therapy in Daybreak University in CA
CIRT (Certified Imago Relationship Therapist)

Finances

Cost per session: $120 per 50-minute session for Couples & Families, I prefer 90min (if out of pocket, the fee will be $200 per 90-minute session)
