Biography

Ms. Sumi Hong is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, clinical supervisor, and mindfulness practitioner. She has received additional training in mindfulness, sand/play therapy, and anger management.

My Approach

Ms. Sumi Hong guides a congruent therapeutic journey with clients while cultivating compassion for embracing changes in life and accepting one's individuality. In psychotherapy, she values authentic and harmonious approaches based on humanistic psychology while promoting presence, awareness, and wisdom.

For beginning therapists who are pursuing the LMFT track, she can provide culturally sensitive supervision in both Korean/English.
