Inaugural National Summit for Korean American Mental Health Professionals
virtually on Saturday, August 15, 11 am - 2 pm EDT
Facilitated in English and Korean
2020 has proved to be a year of unprecedented changes: the COVID crisis, racial tensions, and immigration policies have greatly affected individuals, families and communities. Mental health has been recognized to be a pressing priority of the times. In response, Mustard Seed Generation is launching an inaugural national summit for Korean American mental health professionals with the goal of unifying the efforts of Korean American mental health organizations and professionals across the United States.
In partnership with organizations in California, Texas, Illinois, and New York, we are hosting the inaugural national summit to be a place of respite, learning, and networking for Korean American clinicians and organizations. The summit features diverse mental health practitioners who will lead panels and breakout sessions focused on both inward-facing development and community-facing issues. We hope you will join us in this historic event of the Korean American mental health community.
