MSG May Series: In Our Own Words — Korean American Voices Across Generations

May is a month that speaks to the heart of our community.

It is AAPI Heritage Month—a time to honor the stories, resilience, and contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. It is Mental Health Awareness Month—a time to open conversation, reduce stigma, and hold onto the hope of healing. And in many Korean communities, it is Family Month—a time to cherish the families we are born into, choose, and continue to build together.

This May, we invite you to join our virtual series: “In Our Own Words: Korean American Voices Across Generations.” Throughout the month, four different speakers will share their personal stories and professional insights from various life stages.

We hope you’ll join us as we create space for reflection, connection, and storytelling across generations.

April Fireside Chat

Join us for our upcoming Heart-to-Healing Fireside Chat: “It’s Okay for Korean Christians to Talk About It: Reclaiming Your Story After Sexual Trauma.” This session offers a compassionate, safe space to begin breaking the silence around sexual trauma.

Our speaker, Lillian Park, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), and Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT). Driven by her own journey of faith and healing, she is passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in both Asian and Christian communities — spaces where suffering is too often carried in silence.

Join us for this important conversation. We warmly welcome you to be part of this gathering.
