Biography
Annie is a Registered Dietitian based in Austin, Texas who specializes in eating disorders and disordered eating care. She uses a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach and provides individualized nutrition care for folks navigating their journey in healing their relationship with food and body image.
My Approach
Within Korean American communities, the messages around food and bodies have perpetuated unrealistic body ideals and twisted beliefs about health. I believe that we all deserve a peaceful relationship with food, and by unpacking our body stories, we can move from a chaotic, disconnected relationship to one of body attunement. I love debunking diets and nutrition myths while providing a space to process through body image struggles.
Working with a dietitian can be a great addition to working alongside a therapist, particularity if you have a history of an eating disorder or disordered eating. Nutrition therapy can be a daunting and foreign concept to many, so please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
