Biography

Alice Kim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Emmaus Counseling and Consulting Services (emmausccs.com) where she offers gospel-centered therapy. She finds deep fulfillment in engaging people’s stories and bearing witness to the good work of God to redeem and restore. She specializes in couples therapy (dating, engaged, married), attachment, abuse and trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, racial and cultural issues.

My Approach

My goal in therapy is to create a safe place where persons can explore and name their story of brokenness and walk towards hope, wholeness, and redemption. I integrate Christian faith with counseling practices to address the needs of the whole person: emotional, mental, spiritual, physical, and relational. I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and story work from the lens of the Gospel.
