Biography

Dr. Hong Huber has been published, presented widely, and received awards for demonstrating exceptional client care and academic achievement. She has also taught as an adjunct professor in the undergraduate psychology departments at two universities. Dr. Hong Huber has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and short-term psychodynamic therapy. Her integrative approach is well-suited for addressing interpersonal and multicultural issues, and she works from a social justice-oriented and trauma-informed lens and provides culturally affirming and responsive therapy.

My Approach

I am passionate about helping clients who are looking for empowerment, exploration, and support with life stressors. My clients describe me as warm and engaging and say that they feel heard and supported in therapy. I specialize in working with adults, adolescents, and couples from a variety of cultural backgrounds and identities experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, multicultural issues, interpersonal challenges, and adjustment difficulties.
