My Approach

Having worked with people of diverse backgrounds, I approach each therapeutic relationship openly, collaboratively, and compassionately. My interactive style is informal and understanding yet direct and transparent. Together, we will develop a plan that fits your needs, priorities, and values to address emotional barriers to your happiness and sense of purpose. I am experienced in working with adults to enhance their self-awareness, mastery, and agency as they make important life decisions and transitions. I specialize in working with members of the AAPI and LGBT communities, including identity and relationships, gender and sexuality issues, and coping with culture-specific, race-related, and other minority stress.
