Biography

Jeff Yeom is a 2nd generation Korean-American who was raised by immigrant parents from South Korea. He is passionate about guiding his clients to reclaim their racial, ethnic, and cultural identity, as well as treating mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief through a psychodynamic approach.

My Approach

I want my future clients to know that my therapy involves collaboration. I'm not the expert on your life. You will need to help me catch up to where you are today, which involves sharing about your family background, how you were raised, past relationship dynamics and other lived experiences. I do not believe that I can just tell you what to do, I want to work together with you to find what makes sense according to your values.
