My Approach

Your time is valuable and a therapist should understand you and your culture, not the other way around. The desire to work toward mental health is a good one and is not always predicated on trauma. Psychotherapy is best with a mutual connection which is why the initial consultation is free - we have to see if we can BOTH work together ;-)
