Biography

Wonbin is a first-generation Korean immigrant and has been working with the Asian American Pacific S community for 6 years. Wonbin specializes in working with LGBTQIA+ Asian American individuals who have experienced religious and relational trauma and who want to explore their intersectional identities as queer, Asian, and/or religious. Wonbin also works with LGBTQIA+ and/or AAPI couples who experience challenges in communication, and vicious cycles of conflicts.

My Approach

I engage with my clients from a trauma-informed narrative worldview where clients are invited to partake in their own journey of discovering their intersectional identities and experiences, such as sexuality, gender, race, culture, spirituality, families of origin, and relationships. I help clients become advocates for their own stories to exist and thrive.
